Who are we?

We are a small family operated company with over 20 years of experience working with clients. We have personal, family experience concerning transitioning and caring for seniors and understand the emotional hardships.

We are able to build strong relationships in order to provide supportive services in a close, caring manner. We are able to provide customized services which fit your needs.

Why did we feel a need for our company?

The concept behind Helping Hands came from personal experience.  As we faced the loss of a parent and the need to establish a new home for the surviving parent, we found the process to be emotionally and physically exhausting.  We felt frustrated by time constraints and distance.  We felt a need for additional help but did not want to open our home and our lives to impersonal companies.  We knew friends in similar situations and hoped our personal experience would allow us to help them.  What started as just helping a friend blossomed into a full-time endeavor.

Over time, we also found a need for services that would allow people to remain in their home.  Health and physical limitations found people having difficulty maintaining a basic quality of life.  Mobility issues necessitated a need to organize everything on one floor of a two story dwelling.  Years of living in the same house led to accumulation of belongings and organizing and de-cluttering was essential to provide a safe environment.  Downsizing before an anticipated move allowed a greater freedom within the house.  We found a we could provide services to clients who wanted to achieve a better quality of life within their existing home.
